Digital credential leader recognized for the second consecutive year amongst 350 companies that have made an extraordinary impact on global learning

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF. (April 29, 2025) — Accredible, the world’s leading digital credential platform, today announced that it has been named to the TIME World’s Top EdTech Companies 2025 list. Presented by TIME and Statista Inc., the list recognizes the top companies around the world that are shaping the future of learning through innovative technology, products, and services. This is the second consecutive year Accredible has been named to the prestigious list.

Now in its second year, the TIME World’s Top EdTech Companies list evaluated more than 7,000 companies based on financial strength and industry impact. The top 350 were selected based on combined scores reflecting revenue performance, funding, product quality, intellectual property strength, and market relevance. Other 2025 awardees include Codemao, Coursera, Docebo, and Udemy.

Accredible’s back-to-back recognition reflects its continued leadership in digital credentialing and its role in helping educational institutions, training providers, and employers recognize and advance learners at scale.

“Digital credentials now play a critical role in connecting learning to opportunity. They give learners a way to prove what they know, help employers make better decisions, and allow education providers to stand out and grow,” said Danny King, co-founder and CEO of Accredible. "The continued recognition from TIME underscores the momentum behind this shift — and our commitment to building the infrastructure that makes it possible."

Over the past year, Accredible has continued to deliver innovations that help credential issuers increase the visibility and enrollment of their programs, while empowering learners to connect their achievements to opportunities. Notable launches include Email Campaigns to boost post-issuance engagement, Digital Credential Transcripts to unify learning and employment outcomes, and the Private Spotlight Directory, which provides organizations with more control over credential visibility. Accredible also expanded its digital credential sharing capabilities to include TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. It partnered with the American Council on Education (ACE) to accelerate credential adoption across higher education and workforce development.

The announcement follows a milestone year for Accredible. The company has issued over 140 million digital credentials on behalf of its more than 2,300 customers — making it the largest network of verifiable digital credentials globally. Accredible was also named to Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech, the 2024 Inc. 5000, Global Engagement Solution of the Year from the 2024 EdTech Breakthrough Awards, and a Learning Technologies Awards 2024 finalist for Learning Technologies Organization of the Year.
