Building on recent launches of public and private Spotlight capabilities, we’re excited to release four major enhancements: redesigned learner profiles, built-in marketing tools, a robust analytics suite, and new email campaign tools — all included for existing Spotlight customers.

What’s New in Spotlight Directory

1. Richer, Recruiter-Friendly Profiles

Spotlight profiles are now more dynamic and discoverable than ever. Recipients can highlight verified skills, endorsements, and work experience descriptions, and add external links to portfolios or social channels, all within a mobile-friendly and applicant tracking system (ATS)-optimized layout. This design is informed by real recruiter behavior and supports stronger employer visibility and improved career outcomes for recipients.

2. Built-In Marketing Tools

Issuers can now customize their Spotlight Directory with banners, announcements, and featured recipient carousels. Highlight standout learners, promote events or credentials, and shape your audience’s experience directly within the directory interface.

3. Powerful New Analytics

The new Spotlight Analytics dashboard gives issuers complete visibility into:

  • How people search and filter for recipients
  • What profiles get viewed and clicked
  • How complete recipient profiles are
  • Who’s engaging, including anonymous, evaluator, and member breakdowns

This is about more than just view counts; it’s about actionable insights to help you grow value and prove ROI.

4. Automated Email Campaigns

Issuers can now launch automated, targeted, branded email campaigns to encourage recipients to complete and share their profiles. Campaigns can be filtered by profile visibility and completion level, and triggered by credential issuance or directory addition. It’s a simple way to drive engagement and turn credential holders into advocates.
