MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF. (January 11, 2023) — Accredible, the world’s leading digital credential platform, today announced the appointment of Chris Krackeler as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing a 20-year track record of leading high-performing teams and driving positive impact for customers. With the appointment, Duncan Mitchinson will transition to Chief Growth Officer, spearheading strategic initiatives to solidify Accredible’s position in the market.

In this role, Krackeler will lead the go-to-market strategy and oversee sales, marketing, and professional services teams to accelerate the adoption and impact of Accredible’s digital credentialing solutions for customers. Prior to joining Accredible, he served as the President and General Manager of Higher Education at Blackbaud.

“With his decades of experience in enterprise software, serving customers, scaling businesses, and aligning revenue functions, Chris is the ideal fit for this next chapter of Accredible’s growth,” said Danny King, co-founder and CEO, Accredible. “His go-to-market leadership will be invaluable as we continue to scale and help more organizations move beyond simply issuing traditional credentials to delivering value throughout the entire learner journey—leading to program referrals, growth, and returning learners.”

“As we’ve shifted to a skill-based learning and hiring labor market, associations, educational institutions, and businesses need to meet market and learner demands for digital, transferable, and verifiable proof of skills and competencies,” said Krackeler. “With a best-in-class digital credential platform and a world-class team, Accredible has proven to be a key program growth driver for over 2,000 leading organizations. Building upon the strong foundation that Duncan and his team have in place, I am excited to play a key role in the next phase of growth for Accredible.”

In addition to hiring Krackeler, Accredible recently appointed Russ Kenyon as Director of Partnerships. With more than 20 years of sales and partnerships experience, Kenyon is responsible for strengthening and growing Accredible’s Partner  Program, which comes during a time of continued growth and innovation for the company.

"I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role to expand our partner program and double down on our commitment to our partners,” said Kenyon. “Our ecosystem of partners has been and will continue to be critical to helping unlock business value for our mutual customers and their credentialing programs.”

The leadership additions continue to build on Accredible’s momentum following a remarkable 2023. Last year, the company secured its Series B funding, introduced several new product innovations including Pathways, and was included on the Inc. 5000, the Deloitte Fast 500, and Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech. Accredible customers also published nearly 25 million credentials in 2023 alone (a 26.3% year-over-year increase), bringing total platform issuance to well over 80 million credentials since Accredible’s inception 10 years ago.
