Blockchain provides a perfect mechanism to add security to credentials and build lasting trust in the qualifications that are essential to careers. Accredible uses the blockchain to cryptographically seal a record of a certificate or badge when it’s created so that third parties can be certain that a record hasn’t been altered since being issued. Once we’ve recorded a credential on the Blockchain it cannot be altered, faked or spoofed. If someone attempts to create a credential that looks like an existing credential it won’t verify against the Blockchain record.
