Better Badges & Certificates

Example Badge

We’ve improved the experience of your certificate & badge recipients.

It’s now easier (and more attractive) for your recipients to share their collection of credentials. If you’re issuing more than one certificate or badge to the same person, they can now easily share a glance-able page with all of their achievements.
A recipient of a credential can now set a password for return visits for easier login. Recipients of certificates and badges are still automatically logged in to the credential and don’t get prompted to create a password. They will only see the option in the dropdown from their account name. This makes re-logging in much smoother (and equally secure option) for many recipients who have found the security-code process difficult in the past.
We now indicate to certificate and badge viewers that they can ‘Verify a Credential’. We want your recipients to benefit from increased trust in their credentials.
– We’ve updated the display of the credential page to put more emphasis on the requirements and status of a credential.
Sharing is easier. We’ve reworked the actions on the credential view to ensure that the key options are easier to access.
– Certificates & Badges load much faster and have a reduced file size.
– We now support the French language. We’re always adding new languages.

– A shortcode to let you show badges & certificates belonging to the currently signed in user to any page or post. You can customize the display and limit the number shown.
– A widget to let you list certificates & badges belonging to the currently signed in user.

Nuclear Understanding, Management & Solutions

Nuclear Learning is a superb example of the Stimson Center’s South Asia Program’s mission of fostering first-rate analysis of nuclear programs, doctrines, and postures. They’re making diverse viewpoints and experts in the field accessible to equip strategic analysts to better tackle these difficult issues.

Launched mid-2017, the first Nuclear Learning course, “Nuclear South Asia: A Guide to India, Pakistan, and the Bomb,” provides strategic analysts in all countries a platform to study nuclear competition and dangers in South Asia and beyond. “Nuclear South Asia” includes video content from over 80 leading practitioners and scholars from India, Pakistan, and the United States, including former senior diplomats and military officers.

Nuclear Learning adopted Accredible to recognize the achievement of course graduates as well as to help them raise their profiles and facilitate their academic and career advancement.

“Digital Certificates have been incredibly helpful in allowing our students to showcase their hard work and signal their nuclear expertise. An added benefit of these certificates is that they create and reinforce a lifetime connection between Stimson and a growing community of “nuclear learners” the world over.” – Travis Wheeler, Research Associate at the Stimson Center.

“Stimson, true to form as a leading U.S. nonpartisan policy research center, is tackling a difficult issue head on with the courses provided on Nuclear Learning. We’re excited that they’ve chosen Accredible to recognize the achievement of their students.” – Alan Heppenstall, CTO of Accredible.

ABOUT NUCLEAR LEARNING

Stimson Center’s South Asia Program has undertaken a new online initiative—Nuclear Learning—to sharpen strategic analysts’ understanding of nuclear programs, doctrines, and postures in South Asia and beyond. Nuclear Learning pursues this mission by making diverse viewpoints accessible via open online courses, nurturing vibrant communities of “nuclear learners” on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, and providing opportunities for students to engage with experts in the field.

The first Nuclear Learning course—“Nuclear South Asia: A Guide to India, Pakistan, and the Bomb”—is available for free at www.nuclearlearning.org. “Nuclear South Asia” includes 8.5 hours of video content and features lectures from more than 80 renowned scholars and practitioners, including former senior diplomats and military officers. In addition to lectures, the course includes quizzes, recommended readings, and other resources for students. Due to high demand, a second Nuclear Learning course on deterrence is under development and will be released in 2019.
